I started this project as a way to get out of a rut and work without the usual perfectionist baggage. The additional texture is from kosher salt on the plate and in the ink. Additionally, I went back and drew on some of the prints with colored pencil, compressed chalk, china marker, and pencil. The occasional grid is from a plate with a drypoint grid.
